Xperience! Japanese is a conversational Japanese program for fourth, fifth, middle and high school students. "We emphasize small classes, participation and having fun!"
Our "thinking outside of the box" lessons are situational and focus on increasing a student's ability to carry on a conversation. If you want to be bilingual in English and Japanese, contact us for a tour or a free trial lesson and find out more about the program. See class schedules.
Our goal is to create an environment where students feel comfortable in not just speaking Japanese but actually conversing in Japanese.
Latest NewsXperience! Japanese is growing! Beginning the week of September 13th, we are offering a once a week activity-based class"Hop, Step, Nihongo!" with Yoshi-sensei, created especially for Kindergarten through 3rd graders. We will have games, singing, dancing, art and lots more! AND, like all Xperience! Japanese programs, the emphasis is on having FUN!! Applications are now available. Literacy Class: Xperience! Japanese offers beginning Japanese Literecy classes! The emphasis is on learning to read and write hiragana. In addition to ”a-i-u-e-o”, the students will learn vocabulary and simple phrases. Xperience! Japanese’s philosophy is” to have fun while learning” and Yoshi-sensei makes sure that her students leave class looking forward to the next one. |

Waki sensei |
Kaori Waki is a native of Shimane, Japan. She and her husband move to the US in 2000. Kaori is a credentialed elementary school teacher and librarian in Japan. She has been a teacher at Saturday Nihongo Hoshuko (weekend Japanese school) and is currently working as a sensei at Rosa Parks JBBP Elementary School.

Yoshiko Ohashi is a native of Saga, Japan and graduated with a BA in education from SophiaUniversity. She has 3 years experience teaching K-12 students at Waseda Ikusei supplementary school in Japan. Yoshi-sensei joined Xperience! Japanese in November of 2009 to teach our Saturday beginning Japanese classes.
